Description: Guilford lore has it that when Bruce Chips settled in Guilford years ago, he built a cozy little pub in the family room of his house. Everyone enjoyed being there so much, they felt that the family room needed a name. So they dubbed it Chip's Pub. For years, family and friends ate, drank and had fun at the original Chips' Pub.

Bruce often talked of opening a real pub in Guilford someday. Well, as fate would have it, several years later in 1983 Bruce and his wife, Eileen, did exactly that.

In fact, many Guilford settlers helped Bruce and Eileen build the Pub. They insisted it be called Chips' Pub II.

Chips' Pub II was established on the premise of offering the affordable, fun alternative to the expensive eating and drinking dilemma so common nowadays.

A place where the whole family can come, to relax and be together for awhile.

To this end, we at Chips' Pub II are constantly committed.
