What is the fax program?
The FAX2EMAIL MARKETING program in short is a
simple way for users of TakeOutTonight.com to view your daily
specials.
How does the fax program work?
Our software engineers developed a program in which a simple fax
is intercepted and converted into a PDF. Member Restaurants fax
their specials to 1-866-426-9314. When an inbound fax is received,
our program recognizes the caller id number and re-routes the
fax to the Member Restaurant's listing. At that time it also emails
the specials out to everyone on that restaurant's email list.
(Note:Faxes from non-Member Restaurants will be automatically
discarded.)
How do I build my list?
We help our member restaurants build a list of email recipients
with in store signup sheets and signs. The sheets can sit up at
the cash register, or cards can be distributed to patrons with
their bill. Member Restaurant's fax in their signup sheets and
customer cards to 1-866-426-9315 and we transcribe the email addresses
and associate them with the Member Restaurant's account. Users
of TakeOutTonight.com also sign up to receive specials here on
the site by selecting restuarants as their favorites.
How many pages am I allowed to send?
Each restaurant is allowed to send 30 faxes per month.
Do we need to send a cover sheet?
No. There is no need for a cover sheet. Unfortunately a cover
sheet would count as 1 page and would be viewed online.
How will I delete the previous days fax?
When a new fax is sent from your fax machine your old specials
are replaced.
Is there a way I can edit my specials through the Admin
Panel?
Yes. We allow all our member restaurants to upload a PDF through
the admin panel.
What is a PDF?
Portable Document Format. An electronic document that must be
read with the Adobe Acrobat computer program. Click

If I forget to send the next day’s specials, will
the previous day’s specials remain online?
Unfortunately all previous specials that have been uploaded to
your listing will remain until a new fax has been sent.
